Purchased this after moving north to a colder climate that doesn't support cycling 11 months out of the year. The set-up instructions left quite a bit to be desired. You have to keep looking back to the front page to see what part is what as the pictures in the instructions do not match the text. Once you understand how it sets up the actual work is easy. My wife and I did it in less than 30 minutes. Cycle Ops has a decent video on their website showing how to properly attach your bike that I would recommend anyone who buys this to watch. Their is a little noise from the trainer but it is not bad; the wind in your ears riding outside is louder. I can hear my music and my TV just fine with only a minor increase to the volume. I purchased the climbing block and the mat to go underneath. So far I actually prefer to ride without the climbing block. It seems that even on the lowest option the climbing block still puts the front wheel too high for normal riding comfort. Without the block your weight is pushed a little forward but I find that I enjoy the arm workout.

The included training DVD is decent. There is really only one warm-up and one workout on the video. The rest is just extra boring commentary and interviews at a race. But I really enjoy using the warm-up completely muted and the race without the music and get a great workout from it. That being said, I wouldn't pay good money to buy the video separate.

This is my first trainer but I've used Saris racks and if the trainer as the same quality I will not be disappointed. My Saris truck rack gave me five good years with over 60,000 miles of carrying one or two bikes across country and only one piece has started to wear out.

I reiterate what so many other people have said -- at only 10" in diameter, it's difficult with anyone with larger feet to position themselves on the board. Even when you do, keeping your feet so close together makes balance a problem. I use it next to a high backed chair so I can grab on if needed. I tried another reviewer's suggestion to use two at a time and that helps, although it takes good coordination and balance.

I was concerned about breaking it when I heard a "cracking" sound as I stood on it (I'm about 215 lbs!). But it seems to be okay so apparently it's sturdier than it looks. I could find no mention of a safe weight limit.

By the way, ignore the "One-year warranty" feature -- the company charges $7.50 service fee to return the board if it breaks. Considering it sells for just a little more than that, the warranty is a joke.
