Its a Nalgene water bottle. It holds water. I already have a wide-mouth version I bring to the office daily, and I wanted another for keeping next to my bed. With the evidence mounting against BPA, and just the "wasteful" nature of using a 16 oz. bottle of water every day, I've decided to try and cut it out of my daily routine.
The Nalgene feels solid, and definitely worth the $10 I spent. It doesn't give the water a "taste", like some of the metal bottles I've used. Its top rack dishwasher safe, and I found that even with the "narrow mouth", the dishwasher still gets up inside the bottle during cycles. It is also made in America. How often can you say you bought something that is still made in the USA?
