True, this is not completely leak-proof. But for what I use it for, it's perfect. It's good for the gym--the flip-top is convenient, and the size and shape are ideal for the cup holder on a treadmill (or in a car). I bring it to work, and as long as I'm careful to pack it so it stays more or less upright, it's fine. It's really light to carry, even when filled.
