I purchased these as part of my Christmas gifts to go with my new Wavemaster and they are perfect. I got the size 14 based on reviews even though my hands are pretty small. I'm glad that I did because they fit perfect. My 10 y/o daughter also uses them and they fit her fine. So, I don't think the smaller sizes would be very comfortable for an adult.
