I use the Streamlight CR123A batteries to power 7 different wireless trasmitters for my ADT in house alarm system. The previous batteries I purchased (different brand name) lasted 5 years. I really won't be able to tell you if these batteries are any better or worse until they either fail or last longer then 5 years.
