Just got my new step and it has a LOT more surface area than some of those other steps. Much longer and I will use it for some weights exercises too (chest presses, etc.). I did expect the risers to be made of rubber, but they are indeed the same hollow plastic as the smaller steps. However, this step still seems quite sturdy and love the rubber mat on top for additional safety/stability. Looking forward to using this.
